As a Senior Legal Counsel for Electrification Business Area in Beijing, China, you will be accountable and responsible for supporting legal and integrity matters for ABB electrification business in China.

Your responsibilities

• Working strategically with the Business and other functions to provide full legal support to the end-to-end business
• Coordinating legal entities corporate governance
• Advising and supporting on the resolution of disputes or litigation
• Analyzing legal issues and provide general legal advice
• Supporting M&A projects
• Delivering legal and integrity training
• Dealing directly in coordinating and advising internal clients and liaising and negotiating with external parties

Your background

• Master of Law from a reputable law school and admission to PRC Bar
• Minimum 10 years’ post qualification experience (PQE) in a major law firm, or in-house or a combination of both
• Strong organization skills and the ability to effectively own and manage multiple tasks and projects, including coordinating internal business partners and instructing outside counsel
• Strong ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience in an easy to understand and concise way
• Able to provide flexible, pragmatic, solution-driven and commercially relevant advice
• Able to maintain composure during highly stressful situations carrying significant business risk
• Fluent in English with strong communication, presentation, and networking skills
