Senior Chemist (f/m) Global Analytical and Microbiology Services
based in Leiden
Your Responsibilities
- Perform routine and non-routine analyses to support customers, RDE (Research, Development and Engineering) projects, Regulatory Affairs and production plants
- Development and validation of new analyses
- Maintain equipment in good working order
- Communicate status of testing and discuss results with stakeholders
- Help maintain inventory of consumables and chemicals required for your area
Your Profile
- Minimal a Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry
- At least 2 years of experience with LC-MS (Liquid Chromatography – Mass Spectrometry)
- Preferred experience in other Chromatography and Spectroscopy techniques
- A preferred background in a research analytical environment
- Experience with Quality Management Systems, e.g. ISO 9001 and 17025
- Ideally suited to work within an international operating company and comfortable working in virtual teams
- Good problem-solving and organizational skills, conscientious and detail-oriented, proactive with an ability to communicate and cooperate independently to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Fluent English with good written and verbal communication skills (other European language proficiency a bonus)
- Ability to motivate others to get things done
