Its covers in photovoltaic and wind energy have since become market standard. The offering is extended by emerging green technologies like hydrogen, electric mobility, circular economy and geological risks. Supporting the energy transition by insuring multi-year products and performance warranties reduces long-term technology risks – a key aspect for the massive investments needed to transform the world of energy, manufacturing and mobility. To further strengthen our team, we are looking for a strong intern who will support our risk analysis experts.

Your Job

  • work closely with our technical due diligence team focusing on green hydrogen and battery-technologies
  • streamline and harmonize the Request For Information procedure during the technical due diligence according to latest international standards and certifications for batteries and hydrogen technologies
  • conceptualize and implement a well-structured database providing comprehensive overview of the standardized testing procedures stipulated
  • support the team in assessing long term performance risks of electrochemical energy storage and conversion technologies and contribute to the development of pricing approaches

Your Profile

  • excited about the perspective of electrochemical technologies in e-mobility, stationary storage and hydrogen production
  • basic knowledge in electrochemistry and testing methods
  • above-average bachelor’s degree in chemistry, material sciences, energy engineering or related
  • well organized and structured approach/mindset to tackle a task 
  • independent and thorough work attitude 
  • fluent in spoken and written English and eager to join an international team
  • willing to work a minimum of 3 months as an intern at Munich RE
