The Position

Global Learning Delivery, Instructional Designer 

Responsibilities

  • Use Articulate Storyline and other multimedia authoring tools to develop interactive e-learning modules, simulations, and assessments
  • Collaborate with the instructional design team(s) to ensure consistency and coherence in instructional approaches and design standards.
  • Collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to translate technical content into clear and engaging e-learning experiences.
  • Design visually compelling graphics, animations, and interactive elements within Articulate Storyline to enhance learner engagement and comprehension.
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot technical issues related to Articulate Storyline development, providing solutions and recommendations as needed.
  • Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure the functionality, usability, and accessibility of Articulate Storyline projects across different environments and devices.
  • Stay updated on the latest features, capabilities, and best practices in Articulate Storyline development to enhance the quality and effectiveness of e-learning content.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills 

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Multimedia Design, Organizational Psychology or another relevant field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • MS or MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in instructional design and multimedia development, with a focus on digital learning materials.
  • Proficiency in Articulate Storyline or similar e-learning authoring tools.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and learning assessment techniques.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Proficiency in English and Portuguese (other languages valued).

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Experience working with SAP or similar enterprise software platforms.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and SCORM standards.
  • Knowledge of graphic design principles and multimedia production techniques.
  • Certification in instructional design or e-learning development (e.g., ATD, eLearning Guild).
