Inviting applications for the role of Manager, Data stage Lead

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining/supporting the various HRMS components involving hire to retire cycle and to support various integration of applications within the IT ecosystem of Genpact. You will function as a key team member for getting the issues resolved, providing direct support to business users, work on day to day business query and challenges, providing extensive technical support for required data extracts, working to offer detailed RCA, offer reliable, robust technical solutions and liaise with customer and delivery team to ensure accurate solution design, and fitment to the requirement.

This role will require demonstrable experience on Data warehousing Technologies IIS (Info sphere Information Server) and DB2.

Responsibilities

  • Lead team of ETL developers to deliver the projects.
  • Design and document ETL solutions for projects, estimate work effort and coordinate delivery with the ETL team
  • Learn and Give in various issues in data warehouse technologies like DashDB, SQL DB, ETL, Reporting
  • Design, Development & Delivery of ETL based projects.
  • Documentation & finding out the nature of problem & be a problem solver at heart.
  • End to End ETL Development, transforming and loading data warehouse and mart tables
  • Deployment, documentation of ETL and Reports
  • Retain ownership of release activities, which get along with ETL projects. Work with Prod Support to maintain and coordinate the ETL deployment environment.
  • Follow good practices and project guidelines in all cases including use of source code control, automated testing and deployment approaches, test-case-based development, and accurate documentation practices

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications

  • Students from all the branches of B.E/B/Tech are eligible.
  • Minimum 65 percent or 6.5 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) on a scale of 10 is mandatory for students to participate in our hiring process
  • Candidate are allowed a maximum of one-year gap in education (after 10th standard till completion of graduation)
  • Excellent written and verbal skills are needed. The candidate must possess interacting skills to handle clients teams to educate them on concepts related to MuleSoft or general API-led integration
  • Please note that Bhutan and Nepal nationals can work in India without a need for obtaining a work visa
  • All other foreign nationals require work visa or an Overseas Citizenship of India(OCI) or Person of India Origin(PIO) card to work in India
  • Candidates who have worked with us before (if any) must disclose the details to the company HR.
  • Proven ETL experience (client facing) related to data warehouse/Analytics / Datastage, other any ETL tool.
  • Expertise on Info sphere Data Stage version 11.0 and above, Quality Stage, Data Architect, Business Glossary and DB2.
  • Basic knowledge on UNIX commands & Cloud
  • Expertise with implementing ETL solutions in IBM DataStage. Certification would be preferred.
  • Experience in implementing database solutions on MS SQL Server, Oracle and DB2 required.
  • Validated experience on Design, Development, Unit Testing of the DataStage code.
  • Strong knowledge on the Performance tuning of the DS Jobs.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in implementing database solutions on MS SQL Server, Oracle and DB2 required.
  • Microsoft/IBM Cloud experience
  • Have a validated ability to translate user needs and requirements into conceptual design, and technical design documents.
  • Expertise in Voice domain would be an added advantage
