Primary responsibilities include:

  • Produce comprehensive technical project plans, specifications, drawings aligning with project requirements and client expectations.
  • Work with design team on specified tool installation scopes of work at a Semiconductor project site
  • Lead the creation, refinement, and finalization of designs encompassing industrial and domestic piping, plumbing, HVAC ducting, chillers, boilers, exhaust systems, controls, process chemicals, fire protection, and potentially other mechanical building systems.
  • Skilled in the process of developing plan view layouts for tools and the related sub-fab support equipment to provide layouts that meet safety requirement, maintenance access and other considerations.
  • Experienced in developing tool designs based on Manufacturers installation guides.
  • Apply established design techniques, exercising judgment to adapt and modify design concepts while ensuring compliance with company and team CAD standards for quality control.
  • Collaborate closely with design teams, Engineers, Project Managers, and stakeholders to address specific objectives, complex features, and propose viable solutions to unique challenges.
  • Facilitate seamless coordination among various design disciplines (Electrical, Structural, Process/Chemical, Architectural, etc.) to fulfill design package requirements.

  • High proficiency working with AutoCAD is required

Education & Experience:

  • Associate Degree in Computer-Aided Design
  • >5 years of CAD design experience in Semiconductor facilities including tool installation
