Senior Associate | Global Payments Operations - 12 Month Contract

Join Payment Operations, part of the Group Treasury Operations team providing group-wide payment related services on behalf of external clients and internal business units. We manage the platform that enables access to the SWIFT network and provide an advisory service to businesses for use of the network.

This is a 12-month contract.

What role will you play?

As a member of the Payments Operations team, you will be responsible for account management activities including processing payment requests and establishing standard settlement instructions ensuring they meet payment formatting and policy requirements. You will work with internal stakeholders on resolutions whilst assisting group-wide clients on payment related queries. You will also work on investigation and resolution of cash reconciliation breaks and identify and drive process improvement opportunities.

What you offer

  • 2-3 years of Operational experience
  • Understand the importance of policies, procedures and controls and effectively operate within them
  • Strong attention to detail and strong communication skills with a passion for process improvement and operational excellence
  • Flexibility for coverage of staff absences, shifts and public holidays as required
  • SWIFT Payment formatting experience highly desired.
