HR Data Analyst - Workforce Analytics

As a member of the Corporate Human Resources (HR) Team, the HR Data Analyst is go-to for HR analytics, which includes data gathering and analysis, as well as the preparation and delivery of insights. Suitable candidates must have prior experience specifically in a dedicated HR data role, having owned HR data (manipulating, synthesizing, governing, interpreting, etc.) 

The Analyst will interact closely with technical and non-technical associates and leaders within our global HR organization and other functional stakeholders including, but not limited to Information Technology & Finance. Reporting to the Director, HRIS, this role will have the opportunity to contribute to the on-going enhancement of enterprise metrics and continuous process improvement. 

Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • Advise global HR teams, providing guidance, development, and support on inquiries and requests related to data use, governance, metrics, insights, and trend analysis.
  • Lead data initiatives to define, standardize, cleanse and map HR data, including to other systems and for use in business processes. 
  • Lead requirements gathering, development, maintenance and communication of HR analytics and reports. Support activities that identify, measure and monitor key metrics for trends to help inform business decisions.
  • Serve as primary interface with other corporate functions (Finance, IT, Audit, etc.) who require HR data, delivering value added service that align with the company’s business objectives.
  • Understand how business needs translate into data requirements. Identify and address gaps and data quality in partnership with other teams.
  • Use metrics to story-tell around the effectiveness and overall health of various functions and processes across the organization.
  • Formulate and implement processes for maintaining data integrity, quality, and completeness.
  • Create data and report related user documentation and conduct training as needed.
  • Act as subject matter expert, keeping up to date on data privacy rules and regulations.

Qualifications and Required Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a dedicated HR Analytics role. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Advanced skills in MicroSoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). 
  • Experience with Workday reporting a plus. 
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong writing and interpersonal communication skills. Experience conducting training and presenting to all levels to gain consensus on data and reporting initiatives.
  • Detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work on projects with minimal supervision.
