SENIOR HUMAN RESOURCE BUSINESS PARTNER 

LOCATION: Dordrecht, Netherlands (On-site with flexibility to work remotely) 

POSITION OVERVIEW: 

The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Senior HRBP) will support an employee group of 170 employees in the Netherlands and Belgium. The position will work closely with HR colleagues in Europe, the US and Asia Pacific regions supporting global business units and HR programmes. 

This is a highly visible role, focused on organization and leadership development, effective change management, workforce planning and performance optimization. The Senior HRBP is a consultant to executives, senior leaders and employees. The role anticipates business needs, offers informed advice based on functional and business experience and will be a key member of the HR global organization. 

RESPONSIBILITES: 

  • Business partnering a client group primarily located in the Netherlands and Belgium, working closely with HR colleagues across Europe. 
  • As part of the Europe & Global HR teams support an agenda based on five ‘pillars’; Talent Acquisition’, ‘Employee Experience’, ‘Leadership Bench’, ‘Driving Performance’ and ‘Efficiency and Scale’ 
  • Ensure change events (varying from individual to company level) are scoped, planned and executed in a thorough, controlled and thoughtful way. 
  • Support the full employee lifecycle – welcome, onboarding, development, progression. 
  • Support business leaders in ensuring their teams are performing and engaged. 
  • Work collaboratively with internal regional and global, cross-function stakeholders and partners. 
  • Ensure reward programmes (merit, interim review, incentive and recognition programmes are executed across the client groups. 
  • Manage local relationship and procedural matters with Dutch Works Council. 
  • Partner with local HR Operations, Facilities and Finance teams 
  • Oversee local benefits programmes ensuring value, compliance and high service levels. 
  • Lead or support HR programmes and projects at country, region or global level. 
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. 
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management and competently uses analytics to spot trends and issues (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions) 
  • Conducts regular employee/manager/leader connects and open and transparent communication. 
  • Represents Human Resources department in SOC/SOX audits, ensuring compliance with internal and applicable external guidelines 
  • Model the e2open Operating Principles to sustain high performing company culture. 
  • Other tasks and activities as assigned: 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • HR generalist/business partnering experience 
  • Experience in an international, technology environment would be useful, but is not essential
  • Experience working in a matrix business/HR organization 
  • Demonstrable business partnering experience with senior management/leadership teams is desirable
  • Broad professional HR experience, knowledge and interest
  • Ability to build and develop effective relationships across a diverse and global group
  • Able to effectively manage a high-volume, varied workload
  • Agility and resilience to respond to changing environments
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision, applying sound judgment 
  • Experience of absence management including liaison with UWV and medical services.
  • Have a thorough understanding of Dutch employment practice and process including the Dutch Works Councils Act.
  • Confident facilitation and presentation skills
  • Strong and clear oral and written communication skills. Strong command of Dutch (professional level) and English language and have the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Direct experience in high growth technology companies
  • Experience supporting business restructuring, alignment and integration
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team, manage conflict, and build trust
  • Professional HR accreditation (or working towards)
  • Adept at use of HRIS platforms
  • Microsoft Office software skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong in data analytics skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • General office environment and responsibilities requiring: 
  • Extensive use of the computer which involves viewing a monitor and keyboarding for most of the workday
