COPYWRITER
IMPACT ON BUSINESS:
We are seeking a talented and creative Copywriter with a passion for retail to join our dynamic marketing team. As a Copywriter, you will play a crucial role in optimizing content for branding, search engines and driving organic traffic to our retail websites. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of excellent writing skills, SEO knowledge, and an understanding of consumer behavior in the retail industry.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES [Essential Functions]:
- Copy Content Creation: Develop high-quality, engaging short and long form copy that reflects our brand voice for product descriptions, category pages, email campaigns, social media posts, blog posts, press releases, case studies, subject lines, email headlines, branding guidelines and other digital assets related to retail.
- Keyword Research: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify opportunities for improving search rankings and driving targeted traffic to our retail sites.
- On-Page SEO: Implement on-page SEO best practices, including meta tags, headers, and internal linking, to enhance the visibility of our retail pages on search engines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product teams, to ensure alignment of content with overall brand messaging and business goals.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and emerging best practices to continuously refine and improve our digital strategy.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of SEO initiatives using analytics tools, providing regular reports and insights to drive continuous improvement.
- All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES:
- Proven experience as a Copywriter, preferably in the retail or e-commerce sector.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to conduct effective keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Creativity and ability to generate innovative ideas for engaging retail content.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and search engine algorithms.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
- 2+ years of proven experience in SEO copywriting, preferably in a retail or e-commerce setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field (preferred).
