This position will be a HYBRID position and will require a minimum of 2 days in the office, with flexibility to work from home the remaining days.

Responsibilities

The following duties are typical of the position, but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.

  • Works with managers to determine staffing needs and selects appropriate recruitment methods. Conducts internal and external recruitment to identify qualified candidates by coordinating staffing requisitions for personnel. Places job postings, job orders, and advertisements using various media.
  • Administers the interview process and pre-employment screenings. Assists management in the selection process and extends employment offers. Coordinates relocation process, when applicable, and reports new hire information to the state.
  • Supports SSOE's diversity goals through recruitment.
  • Provides managers with salary recommendations for exempt and non-exempt classifications or region/country specific benchmarking. Consults with managers in the preparation of salary administration.
  • Will collaborate with Managers in India and the United States.
  • Will collaborate with Corporate Marketing on India Employment Branding and social media content.
  • Assist India Human Resource Manager with employee communications.
  • Organizes and leads all new employee orientation for India based hires.
  • Helps with decentralization of benefits program by collecting necessary information and assisting employees with questions and processes, under the direction of the Manager, Human Resources.
  • Provides information on Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and/or other special programs
  • Provides input to department managers on human resources planning, strategy and operations issues.
  • Coordinates Employee Relations Programs. Serves as adviser for Employee Clubs of locations serviced. 
  • Serves as company representative in both professional and civic organizations, including SHRM or country specific equivalent, regional HR organizations, university and college professional experience programs, and others as required
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related area is required.
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Strong attention to details and be comfortable working in a high paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work off hours to support United States based teams and managers
  • Minimum three (3) to five (5) years Human Resources experience required.
  • Computer knowledge required.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills.
