Your role

If so, we are seeking an individual that excels in a fast paced, team environment responsible for 1. Managing an institutional program; 2. Managing key projects that drive the program’s sales and service goals; 3. Supporting the lead program manager to provide financial advisors with the highest level of professional service/support in response to new client opportunities; 4. collaborating across the firm to help deliver a holistic, world-class institutional wealth management client experience.

• project manager for institutional business development
• responsible for developing, driving and executing project plans primarily associated with institutional business development
• coordinate tasks associated with each initiative, such as marketing and awareness campaigns, marketing materials, request for proposals (RFPs)
• lead collaborative engagements with external stakeholders to develop Financial Advisor education initiatives and identification of market opportunities
• consistently find ways to understand client needs / competitive landscape so as to expand and enhance the program to make it easier to do business
• work with internal partners to review and approve client materials
• support the lead program manager in the day-to-day management of the program; at the lead program manager’s direction
• manage existing and prospective client field requests, in a timely and organized manner. Deliver high-quality support and service by effectively communicating with and responding to key stakeholders including the program manager, financial advisors, branch management,
• act as the program liaison with the CIO and Investment Product Offering teams. Drive conversations, change, approvals and updates across different media/channels, as necessary.
• accountable for the process as it relates to the services provided and the seamless connectivity within the delivery lifecycle; to this end, it is important to be a proactive innovator and agent of change
• proactively engage with advisors to discuss business development and/or client needs

Your team

Located, in UBS' Home Office, Weehawken, New Jersey, you will be working on a product management team within the Advisory & Planning Products Americas area of Global Wealth Management's' Global Investment Management (Global IM) business. Our main objective in Global IM is to provide Financial Advisors with the support and resources necessary to deliver investment expertise, portfolio construction and financial oversight for our clients. The Advisory program management team is comprised of experienced wealth management professionals, who are managing and continuously building a new, exciting and industry leading advisory programs.

Your expertise

• ideally a BS degree or equivalent, preferably in business administration, banking, finance, or economics
• series 7 and 66 (or equivalent) or willing to obtain immediately upon hire
• ideally 3+ years of experience in a similar role / function
• program management and/or project management experience in the financial industry
• active listener, engaging and empathetic, with an ability reassure your audience
• innovative, collaborative, and marketing subconscious thinker – always able to see an opportunity
• resourceful, problem-solving, and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure things out)
• powerpoint skills; presentation skills are a plus
• experience working within an organization supporting corporate or institutional client segments
• a confident decision-maker, highly organized and detail oriented
• an excellent communicator, with strong interpersonal and presentation skills
• a flexible, resilient team player with a positive attitude who displays enthusiasm and confidence
• a person that can think outside of the box
• able to multi-task and prioritize workload in a high pressure environment
