ABOUT THE JOB:

The Senior Product Manager / Product Manager supports the tactical and strategic functions of product management, helping to drive revenue, market share, and other key financial metrics for the Essentials (value added products and services) offering in North America. This person will help to develop and execute the vision and product road for the category, leading key product management and development functions. The Senior Product Manager/ Product Manager is responsible for owning the operational and commercial rhythms that drive the Essentials category. The job requires strong communication, leadership, and program management skills that can translate into successful sales and profit results.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Embraces and promotes a safety culture and complies with all WillScot Mobile Mini Safety, Transportation and Environmental Policies
  • Practices corporate social responsibility by connecting the WillScot Mobile Mini mission and values to local communities and represents the Company at various community and/or business meetings
  • Conduct external and internal assessments of the business environment, competitors, customers, and market trends
  • Identify and propose margin and financial enhancing programs
  • Customer-facing product research
  • Assist in developing and executing Essentials product road
  • Work closely with procurement and operations teams to provide clear project direction and deliver projects on time and on schedule
  • Successfully launch new products within markets including launch materials, training and commercial support
  • Assist commercial teams in developing plan to grow sales year over year, including product training.
  • Support daily Essentials requests from operational and commercial teams
  • Manage reporting mechanisms and KPI tracking on a regular cadence
  • Help lead multifunctional teams throughout the organization
  • Key contributor in strategic annual planning/re-planning sessions
  • This is a team-based role and will assist in other aspects of product management and marketing as well as help drive our Company’s Strategies and promote our Mission, Vision and Values

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor’s degree required; Business or Marketing major preferred
  • 4-6 years of increasing responsibility in a marketing or sales role with a record of demonstrated achievement and leadership experience
  • Preferably within the B2B arena and with capital products
  • Demonstrated knowledge of business acumen in key areas
  • Ability to read and manage product programs by P&L results
  • Competent in MS Office, particularly Excel, and SalesForce
  • Understanding of sales metrics, margin, EBITDA
  • Financial and budgeting skills
  • Project management and analytical skills; strong attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written aptitude including the ability to communicate effectively up, down and across organizational levels
  • High level of comfort with presenting in front of an audience
  • High level of comfort communicating with customers in jobsite environments
  • Demonstrated continued engagement in current B2B marketing trends and skills
