Hybrid Working 

Structured hybrid role: 

At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Please note that as we continue to embed our hybrid working environment, we remain in a test and learn phase, which means that working arrangements may be subject to change on reasonable notice to ensure we meet the needs of our business.

Introduction:

Reporting directly to the Global Head of BX and BUK Programmatic Recruitment, the role holder will be responsible for driving the end to end delivery for all programmatic channels hired into region; including but not limited to Interns, Graduates and Apprentices from attraction through to onboarding. 

The role holder will proactively partner with key stakeholders, introducing a uniform process of engagement and communication leading to the effective management of each Programme. 

The role holder will support and manage key strategic projects and initiatives that span BX and BUK programmatic recruitment. 

A key requirement of the role will be to collaborate through others including the sub-services, colleagues from the business, senior stakeholders, 3rd party providers and across other HR transaction cycles to effectively ensure delivery of a great candidate, hiring manager and stakeholder experience. 

This is a highly visible role, and the role holder will need to be able to share and display an understanding of commercial value and an in-depth knowledge of the business areas they are partnering with. Role incumbents will act as ambassadors for Talent Acquisition both internally and externally as appropriate.

What will you be doing?

  • Partner with Global Head of BX and BUK Programmatic Recruitment to support and manage multiple key projects and initiatives linked to Programmatic Recruitment
  • Drive end to end delivery for all programmatic hiring channels hired into region; including but not limited to Interns, Graduates and Apprentices from attraction through to onboarding
  • Manage a small team directly, and partner closely with the wider recruitment team to ensure successful delivery of each recruitment campaign
  • Drive operationally efficient recruitment practices and strategies that are fit for purpose, efficient and consistently deployed ensuring all relevant governance is adhered to
  • Partner with teams to ensure effective marketing and attraction strategies, including campus materials, social and print campaigns are in place and deployed to attract diverse cohorts
  • Partner with Programme Delivery and Programme Support to ensure effective transition from Recruitment to Programme occurs for all hires.
  • Through development of close working relationships with, HR Executives and Business Executives, will build an in-depth understanding of current and future hiring requirements of the business
  • Support delivery of diversity initiatives to help support Barclays Diversity and Inclusion efforts.
  • Use data and insights to support with data led decision making; and continued efforts to evaluate ROI on events and use information to inform future decisions / recommendations.
  • Proactively search for ways to do things better and identify opportunity for continual improvement.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong understanding of current internal and external recruitment landscape
  • The ability to take knowledge and ideas and move them into action
  • Deep understanding of regional end to end recruitment processes.
  • Knowledge of India education landscape and institutions
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask with agility
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills
  • Excellent Excel skills, coupled with the ability to review and analyse data to produce information and insights

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Preferred: experience in Early Careers / Programmatic Recruitment
  • Minimum educational qualification required is Graduate
