Description

Manage external vendors to produce regional solutions for assigned tasks and review solution deliverables from vendors to ensure the delivery meets quality and business requirements.

  1. Solutions Delivery (Including System Development)
  2. Able to analyse and propose solution for simple to moderate complexity type of project.
  3. Should be able to create estimation for test support type of work.
  4. Ensure individual capacity plan is updated on a regular basis.
  5. Expected to propose and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  6. Facilitate discussion with vendors and ensure their understanding of business requirements.
  7. Lead vendors to build, integrate and deliver Regional Solutions for assigned projects/tasks to ensure high-quality delivery.
  8. Discuss, challenge and validate the recommendation, analysis, estimation and study results of application systems provided by solution vendors (e.g., Proof of Concept) in order to help define business requirements.
  9. Review solution delivery deliverables from Vendors to ensure quality assurance for assigned projects.
  10. Follow up with vendors to ensure they provide all relevant design documents that meet AXA IT standards for assigned projects.
  11. Aggressively drive vendors in order to deliver system development, technical infrastructure setup, UAT support, implementation and service introduction activities to users following the agreed SLA for assigned projects.
  12. Deliver training and provide knowledge transfer to help Production understand development specifications for development work to ensure proper knowledge transfer.
  13. Delivery Process Management
  14. Able to identify project risks and issues and recommends mitigations.
  15. Help Delivery Manager in project planning.
  16. Able to handle escalations on application issues with Delivery Manager support.
  17. Able to handle escalations on application issues with Delivery Manager support.
  18. Expected to make project related decisions in the absence of his/her Delivery Manager.
  19. Monitor vendors to ensure compliance with the required delivery process.
  20. Testing
  21. Provide support to conduct SIT, UAT, NIT and PT (as applicable) with Testing COE to ensure its success.
  22. Drive test management for Core Life only demands with System Testing, Batch Testing and/ or Regression Testing.
  23. Drive test management for Core Life only demands during UAT without TCoE.
  24. Business Relationship Management and User Requirement Analysis
  25. Help Delivery Manager in facilitating project status reporting to entities
  26. Support in Stakeholder management.
  27. Support Solution Architect and Business Analyst in order to define business requirement, review solution options and provide solution estimation.
  28. System Integration
  29. Develop and design the programs for integration with other systems, together with vendors where applicable, to ensure the successful transition within AXA GO.
  30. Applications Management
  31. Apply and adhere to policy, guidelines and standards in application development to ensure policy integrity.
  32. Training
  33. Conducts knowledge sharing sessions to internal team.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Computer Science or related fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years system delivery experience with collaboration with other technology domains, preferably in the
  • insurance/financial services field.
  • Working knowledge of AS/400, RPGLE is required, preferably in insurance field.
  • Good understanding of system development life cycle and quality assurance process.
