Overview:

This position handles the day-to-day execution of all areas of Lift Connect (telematics) customer service and sales support, including daily management of business support processes and responding/directing customer inquiries. The Customer Service Rep is expected to show knowledge of products and the ability to manage calls and emails from our customers and the Outside Sales Team.

Responsibilities:

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage telematics activations for customers, including issue resolution and communications
  • Record customer information/cases in CRM (customer relationship management database)
  • Supplies feedback and technical aid to various customer inquiries and issues, including live customer demos, telemetry device/reporting troubleshooting, etc.
  • Support monthly reporting and customer adoption activities
  • Coordination with intercompany departments to resolve customer inquiries
  • Respond to sales inquiries and requests
  • Find, address, and escalate issues
  • Performs other duties as assigned that support the overall goal of the position

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Two years customer service or equivalent experience
  • Call Center experience an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English a requirement (written & spoken), with a preference for candidates who are bilingual in one of the following languages: French, German, Dutch, or Spanish
  • College diploma an asset or experience with equipment deployed in construction or the trades
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 - proficiency in Excel is essential

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle ERP & Salesforce CRM experience.
  • Ability to relate to a wide variety of people in a professional and diplomatic manner
  • Ability to handle stressful situations in a positive, tactful manner.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume customer support center within the established handle times and set performance metrics 
  • Great attitude, self-motivated, professional demeanor.
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Detail oriented with great organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong orientation toward safety, quality, and process change/improvement.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to learn new products and software.
  • Strong knowledge of Genie products and the lifting industry is a plus.
