Data & Analytics Product Promotions Manager

We are hiring an exceptional product marketer to promote our Data and Analytics product suite. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the financial services sector and a passion for technology products. You will play a crucial role in positioning our products effectively in the market, driving demand, and contributing to our overall business growth. The individual will proactively engage across internal stakeholders, clients and industry participants to articulate the durable value of our entire product portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Product Positioning: Develop compelling messaging and positioning for our products that resonate with our target audience, differentiate our offerings in the market, and articulate the unique value we provide.
  • Market Intelligence: Own market research and competitive analysis to understand industry trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape. Utilize insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Content Creation: Collaborate with content teams to create high-impact sales enablement materials, such as product datasheets, case studies, white papers, and presentations, that effectively communicate product benefits and features. Partner with other teams to create and maintain a broad social media strategy to highlight key product benefits and customer outcomes.
  • Demand Generation: Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement campaigns that drive product awareness, engagement, and conversion across various channels (digital, events, PR, etc.).
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product management, sales, customer success, and other teams to ensure alignment on product messaging, launch activities, and sales strategies.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze product marketing performance metrics and adjust strategies as necessary to maximize impact.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to create user focus groups to promote product adoption, capture and aggregate user feedback across a global client-base.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field. 
  • 5+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in the financial services or fintech sector.
  • A passion and strong understanding of financial products, markets, and regulatory environments.
  • Proven ability to develop effective product positioning, messaging, and continuous engagement strategies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify the complex across a broader, diverse audience.
  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making and performance optimization.
  • Creative thinker with a track record of launching innovative marketing campaigns that drive results.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A reputation for fairness, dependability, and adherence to high ethical standards

Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred. 10-12 years of total work experience preferred. Experience in Product Management, operations, client management preferred. MBA or CFA preferred. Product Leadership Certification preferred. BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $100,000 and $180,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.

This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
