The Opportunity

The Director will serve as a key member of the Supply Chain/Logistics leadership team supporting multiple Business Units/Divisions within Rapid and Molecular Diagnostics”.

What You’ll Work On

  • Direct all supply and logistics policies, procedures, and activities to maximize the efficiency, reliability, timeliness, and cost effectiveness of the organization's supply chain.
  • Oversee the budget.
  • Monitor the performance of all supply and logistics activities against goals.
  • The Director will serve as a key member of the Operations Leadership team reporting to the Division Leadership team.
  • The role will champion key supply chain initiatives for the Division and will be responsible for developing critical enterprise supply chain initiatives by employing best practices and strategies and ensuring effective implementation and execution of the above across the company. 
  • Ensure all compliance measures are met within global guidelines. Identify and implement best in class technology and infrastructure suitable to the scope and size of the business along with disciplines that underlie a supply chain operation. 
  • Develop global implementation of distribution best practices such as systems integration and optimization, inventory control, and SKU optimization. 
  • Leads management routines to monitor core supply chain performance, including delivering against product and service level agreements and cost objectives with increasing visibility and effectiveness as well as support growth through best practices. 
  • This role ensures continuous improvement through proactive leadership and development of direct reports and is responsible for running a cost-effective operation staying within budgetary guidelines, while building business performance.
  • Responsible for the planning and management of activities related to material logistics, aiming at meeting pre-determined quantities, quality and deadlines, and the efficiency of operational flows.
  • Coordinates materials supply, storage, distribution and order delivery, seeking the optimization of available resources to meet the needs of the Production and Sales areas.
  • Develops studies and determines strategies to enhance the efficiency of the processes.
  • Research, negotiate, maintain, monitor, and regularly evaluate relationships and contracts with external suppliers so the organization has a reliable supply of goods and services that meet its standards of quality, timeliness and cost.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.
  • Experience managing a global team and 3rd Party Suppliers.
  • Proven success in a global matrixed organization working closely with senior leadership.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred

  • Previous logistics experience in Med Device or Pharma.
  • Advanced business and financial acumen.

The base pay for this position is

$162,000.00 – $324,000.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
