QA Engineer for Hospitality Central Reservation System

Summary of the role

Amadeus Hospitality Central Reservation System (ACRS) is an industry leading, cloud native, large scale system designed to power a constant stream of reservations coming from thousands of hotels worldwide. With our ongoing partnership with InterContinental Hotel Group (13 brands, 100 countries and 800,000 rooms) and MGM Resorts International, Amadeus is building a community Central Reservation System.

We are looking for a Scrum Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to develop and execute tests to ensure product quality, prevent errors in production that lead to product defects, and test products extensively before their release for the Central Reservation System. Are you up for the challenge?

In this role, you will

• Implement and maintain the test strategy
• Participate in specification with product owners and product definition analysts
• Define test cases from customer’s requirements and ensure traceability with specifications and other requirement documents
• Enrich the regression test suites based on the defined test plan
• Design test cases and develop automated test case scripts
• Prepare test environment, test data, and execute test cases
• Give go/no-go for the component test campaign.
• Be responsible for the project, product or release quality control.

About the ideal candidate

• University degree in Computer Science or related field
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• 4+ years working as quality engineer for API testing on Service Oriented Architecture applications (aka OBE systems)
• Experience in product testing or testing phase of product implementation of complex backend systems
• Experience in testing as part of Agile Scrum team
• Good understanding of reviewing functional specifications/FDDs.
• Experience working with ALM, Jenkins, Confluence, GIT, Bit-bucket
• Automation experience with READYAPI/ POSTMAN PRO/ REST-ASSURED/ etc. using XML/ JSON.
• ISTQB certification is a plus
• Knowledge of Amadeus or other GDSs is a plus
• Experience in Hotel/ Hospitality domain is a plus.
