About the Team:

We are looking for an experienced Director of Digital Marketing Programs to join our team and help build Obsidian Security into that of a world-class brand. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital advertising technologies, strong leadership skills and a proven record of optimizing ad campaigns to maximize business impact and performance. This is a hands-on position where you’ll use full-funnel tactics and utilize your analytical skills to plan and execute a variety of digital, social and webinar plans. You will work closely with content writers, marketing technology, and cross-functional teams (Marketing + Sales + Product).

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute short-term and long-term growth strategies for digital marketing, social media and webinar strategies
  • Must be able to set up and optimize Google Ads, LinkedIn campaigns and PPC campaigns across search engines / ad networks
  • Build paid media strategies and plans that drive brand awareness and performance marketing plans that drive traffic and conversion, optimizing for ROAS
  • Manage and execute our SEO content program across our digital properties
  • Benchmark SEO / SEM strategy effectiveness (changes to rankings, traffic, conversions), derive insights, develop recommendations, and make decisions based on data; implement best practices
  • Manage campaign development and execution through creative, paid media, social, demand gen and webinars to ensure clear alignment with campaign strategy, vision, and direction
  • Actively monitor and report on performance of digital, social and webinars based on KPIs and analyzing results in flight, adjusting execution as needed

Applicant Qualifications:

  • 10+ years experience in a B2B, SaaS or Cloud company
  • Proven track record of managing digital content for a corporate website, optimizing SEO / SEM results using tools like Semrush or other tools
  • Deep expertise in Google Adwords for creation of ads and Google Analytics to optimize ad campaigns
  • Proficient in website CMS and analytics, Google Search Console and WordPress strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical mindset and critical thinking skills
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude and solid ability to think strategically and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent attention to detail, while maintaining an eye on the big picture
  • Manage multiple projects independently while maintaining deliverables, timelines, and next steps
  • Able to thrive and deliver in an agile fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • BS or BA in marketing, design or similar degree preferred

  • Base Pay Range: $180k - $200k per year

Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for equity awards [and incentive compensation] based on factors such as experience, skills, and location.
