This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Role and responsibilities

  • Build very strong relationships with our employees, managers, and senior leaders as a way to get to know how to best meet their needs
  • Partner with Talent & Learning colleagues and HR Business Partners to shape and translate business needs into strategy
  • Drive and implement China Talent & Learning strategy and key programs and projects, e.g., Succession, Performance Management, Career Development, Coaching & Mentoring, Retention Strategy, Internal Mobility, Leadership Development Programs and Partner Relationships, Learning Shared Service transformation,, etc. Collaborate with stakeholders and Sr. leaders to secure resources, scope efforts, set project priorities, milestones, and drive delivery to meet deadlines to meet program goals
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert and partner with Global People development colleagues and external vendors to (re) design / introduce new learning programs as needed per business and People Development strategy
  • Collaborate with other Talent & Learning teams across regions to share best practices and ensure continuity across multiple programs and teams
  • Supports other HR Department initiatives leveraging natural tendency towards teamwork
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business-related field. Advanced degree and/or organizational development-related certification (e.g., ODCP, CPF, ICF) or designation preferred
  • 7+ years of People/Organizational development work with focus on Talent Management, OD, L&D, leadership development and HR strategy
  • 7+ years of experience consulting with leaders and stakeholders, with a proven track record of establishing trusting relationships

Skills

  • Strong track of record of consulting agility, people analytics, project management, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to balance stakeholders, secure resources and meet multiple priorities and deadlines. *PMP certificate is a plus
  • Experience working in a multi-national matrix organization as an internal consultant
  • Demonstrated experience with talent management, succession planning, driving culture evolution, learning design, high-potential development programs and organization diagnostics, design and development etc. *Experience in coaching, facilitation, interventions and digital learning, is a plus
  • Knowledge of key trend in People Development, knowledge institutes, and industry societies. *A broad network of vendors is a plu
  • Proven ability to actively use business metrics and or talent metrics, and training data to track, trend, and manage impact of training efforts
  • Strong presentation and writing skills in both English and Mandarin with the ability to use technology to disseminate information
  • Ability to have virtual meetings outside of business hours with global counterparts on a regular basis
  • Willingness and interest in working in other areas of HR in the future highly desired
  • Can do mentality and strong team player
