Marcum LLP is seeking an experienced Valuation, Forensic, & Litigation Director with strong experience to join our national firm in our Portland, ME office. This position requires a high-energy, experienced professional with strong interpersonal and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

  • Generate work through current referrals
  • Manage multiple engagements concurrently
  • Lead dispute investigations
  • Conduct financial investigations
  • Perform due diligence investigations
  • Manage team members to ensure accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and research.
  • Ensure analysis adequately supports conclusions reached.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to staff to help facilitate staff development. 
  • Determine and manage budgets and profitability.
  • Lead engagements and client interactions.
  • Attend depositions and court appearances

Qualifications

  • Demonstrate proven ability to generate new business through referrals.
  • Demonstrate ability to lead, motivate, develop and coach teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and active participation in networking.
  • Strong project management and problem solving skills.
  • Minimum 10 years of related experience.
  • B.S degree in accounting, finance or economics required.
  • Professional licenses or credentials such as ASA, CFA required.
