Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in fostering a positive and empowering work environment? We are seeking a dynamic leader to head our international relations team as the Manager Human Resources Business Partner in Europe. In this role you will lead a team of 5 colleagues.

As the Manager of HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing our human resources strategy to support our business objectives. You will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing HR Business Partner team, driving initiatives to enhance employee engagement, and contributing to the overall success of our organization

To succeed in this exciting role, you bring in strong strategic and relationship skills: excellent communication and collaboration capacities, the ability to “read a room”, the confidence to advise and speak up. You will be leading our HR initiatives, driving organizational success through strategic partnerships and people-centric solutions. Given the international nature of the role, your ability to work effectively with diverse teams and navigate cross-cultural challenges will be crucial.

Within Applied Medical this position has the internal job title of Manager Personnel Relations and reports to the Director Personnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the HR Business Partner strategy aligned with organizational goals, ensuring HR initiatives drive business success.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HR Business Partners, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the HR department.
  • Employee Engagement: Implement programs and initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Strategic Business Partnership: Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business needs, provide HR insights, and develop solutions that align with organizational objectives.
  • Talent Management: Oversee talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Performance Management: Drive the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans, to support employee growth and achievement.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting: Establish and monitor key HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives and provide data-driven insights to the leadership team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and industry trends.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives with business goals.
  • Experience in an international environment
  • Excellent English, both written and spoken
  • Knowledge of another European language is an advantage
