Our opportunity

In this role you’ll be responsible for working within the UX and UI Design team to define and assist in leading the UX and UI experience for new and core LiveWell product features during design, implementation, and maintenance. Reporting into the Head of UX and UI Design, you will also be responsible for assisting in setting best practice UX and UI processes and protocols for the Product and Proposition team.

Your role

As a Senior UX/UI Designer your main responsibilities will involve:

  • Creating, collaborating, and maintaining processes for design team, such as version-controlled file storage, ideation, review, and handoff processes.
  • Helping to define user experience, interactions, and user interface through user flows, information architecture, wireframes, and visual design on new product features.
  • Reviewing core product features to incorporate best practice UX/UI design.
  • Driving the integration of UX/UI development into the agile processes with both the product and development teams. Work closely with development teams to ensure design specifications are implemented.
  • Applying business design principles to the design team on project execution, provide ongoing feedback, review designs, and align with the brand guidelines ensuring high usability and accessibility standards. Business design looks at commercial efficiencies, opposition research and market readiness for planned features.
  • Where required, participating in relevant user research, and testing to optimize existing user interface designs, ensure user interface meets high standards for usability and accessibility, and test new ideas before implementing. Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale.

Your Skills and Experience

As a Senior UX/UI Designer your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

  • Experience in UX and UI in the healthcare industry
  • Experience in delivery of health and wellbeing UX/UI applications during design, implementation, and maintenance
  • Experience in Design System implementation and maintenance
  • Demonstrated leader in design practices and initiative for continuous improvements.
  • Relevant recognized qualifications in best practice UX and UI.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to best practice changes in UX and UI
  • Previous experience working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Previous proven ability to work with a broad cross functional team.
