Then come in and join our Indonesia team as a Varian Installation Project Manager to be fully responsible in coordinating all aspects of a product or service offering project for a client, from inception to installation. The role reports directly to the Installations Manager.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for installations which may involve acceptance of capitalized equipment or enterprise software systems, or system integration or consulting projects/engagements.
  • You will typically be involved in extensive interaction with sales and other members of cross-functional teams.
  • You will be responsible for projects that are typically focused on the delivery of new or enhanced products to improvement of customer satisfaction through the use of technology.
  • You will typically oversee schedules and budgets to ensure goal attainment.
  • You will be responsible to review purchase order transmittals noting any unusual service requirements and follow up with appropriate function.
  • You will meet with customers/customers contractors and perform site visits and help the customer prepare their facility for a successful and efficient installation.
  • You will monitor customer facility preparation and coordinate equipment shipment schedules to ensure timely and effective installation and commissioning of equipment.
  • You will provide reports indicating installation activities and analyzing schedules.
  • You will build expert knowledge in our industry and conveys knowledge to others through the generation of procedures, FAQs, and other technical documentation.
  • You will provide expertise to internal teams and task forces.
  • You will work across practices to share lessons learned and best practices.
  • You will manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple projects. Perform routine project management and site planning to ensure customer compliance with building and technical requirements, both Varian’s and local municipalities, for equipment installations.
  • You may be required to work at client site from time to time as well as travel to other locations within the region on short notice.

Your qualifications and experiences:

  • You have a Bachelors Degree/Masters Degree and 2-5 years of related experience 
  • You have experience in field customer service, construction management or engineering.
  • You have general knowledge of construction and electrical codes and government radiation regulations.
  • You have general knowledge of network design, software controls systems, and server management.
  • You have knowledge of the use and deployment of software in a healthcare environment, especially as applied to cancer care.

Your personality and skills:

  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • You must have strong customer service acumen.
  • You are fluent in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • You understand virtualization solutions such as VMWare, Citrix as well as Relational Database Management Systems and SQL tools in conjunction with Microsoft SQL Server databases.
  • Required Certifications and Training: PMI certification is desired.
  • You will obtain and complete the LMS training plan specific to assigned responsibility. 
  • You are proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Project, Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • You have experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software is desired.
