You‘ll make an impact by:

  • Coordinate and manage interfaces between different project stakeholders in EPC projects.
  • Liaise with Package Owners, OEMs, and Sub-contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve interface issues promptly.
  • Monitor progress and identify potential interface conflicts or delays, taking proactive measures to mitigate risks.
  • Develop and implement interface management plans tailored to the specific requirements of EPC projects.
  • Provide regular updates to the Head of Service Delivery and Project Director on interface-related matters.
  • Ensure strict adherence to project requirements, specifications, and contractual obligations.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops to address interface challenges and facilitate collaborative solutions.
  • In addition to the following specific task:
  • Develop comprehensive interface management procedures and protocols aligned with EPC project needs.
  • Conduct regular interface meetings with stakeholders to review progress, address issues, and drive resolution.
  • Document interface agreements, decisions, and action items for clear accountability.
  • Monitor and track interface deliverables, milestones, and dependencies to maintain project schedule integrity.
  • Collaborate closely with other project managers to ensure seamless integration of interface activities with overall project objectives.
  • Review and analyze interface-related documentation and reports to identify trends and potential areas for improvement.
  • Provide mentorship and support to project team members on effective interface management practices within EPC projects.
  • Support the Administrator in compilation of project and customer documentation.
  • Learn from and share experiences with others.

Your success is grounded in

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (preferred).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred).

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in project management or related field
  • Experience in managing interfaces in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects.
  • Knowledge of Shell Design and Engineering Practices (Shell DEPs), Oil & Gas engineering practices, applicable specifications, codes, and international standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in executing sizable EPC jobs for brownfield Oil and Gas projects.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • > 6 years professional experience in large EPC projects
  • > 3 years professional experience in interface management and execution large interface contracts.

Key Skills and knowledge:

  • Project Management: Strong project management skills. Integration of contract and risk management into project planning and execution.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Clear and effective communication with stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • In-depth understanding of EPC project lifecycle.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to address contract-related issues and risks proactively.
  • Attention to Detail: Thoroughness in reviewing contracts and risk assessments.
  • Conflict Resolution: Skill in managing conflicts related to contracts and risks.
  • Strategic Thinking: Development and implementation of long-term management strategies.
  • Stakeholder Management: Building and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with engineering and construction processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
  • Basic engineering know-how across disciplines.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
