What's the Role?

The role will focus on developing and managing all communications materials and media in line with CI/CD for internal and external customers to differentiate Hilti brand from our competitors.

What does the role involve?

Company communications and events

  • Company meetings and events
  • Company Kick-off event organization
  • Product launch and back office/company meeting event

Trade fair

  • Exhibitions – CI/CD compliancy
  • Seminars/Events – training seminars, product presentations seminars
  • Product samples and display
  • Banner

Hilti online

  • Website content and structure management
  • Campaign management across the Hilti channels – E-mail, E-business
  • Hilti website – update products list, corporate news, technical library
  • Hilti Online content maintenance and monitor, proactively update website
  • Analyze online usage and hit rate.
  • Utilize online registered customer data and integrate with sales team for follow up
  • Study the feasibility of E-business and propose MO launch road map
  • E-news letter, online campaign, promote website visibility, company information support.

Public relations

  • Develop relationship with relevant media and develop PR or press conference and corporate publishing
  • Advertising on related media
  • Update construction news
  • Search for trade magazine and website which is suitable for Hilti’s product
  • Prepare mass communication material for publication

Literatures

  • Marketing materials – catalogue, brochure, leaflets, folders, instruction manual, Jobsite poster
  • Demo & argumentation card etc.
  • Submit documents – folders, sticker,
  • Internal templates consistency – list price, certificate, administrative documents etc.

Budget

  • Develop annual communications budget plan and optimize cost of communications
  • Summarize YTD Marketing material expense and forecast rest of year’s spending
  • Propose Marcom budget with all planed events and product launch
  • Select variant supplier with best offer and quality to complete the work on time
  • Control the spending and feedback to management for alert and actions plan

Merchandising items

  • Give away for customer
  • Plan with sales team and product manager for annual give away proposal an budgeting
  • Give away management and stock/usage tracking and monitoring with feedback
  • Gift – calendar, annual gift to customer, event materials

What you need is:

  • Mass Communications/ Marketing Degree or related fields
  • 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience crafting and delivering communications
  • Experience in managing multiple agencies
  • Excellent command of English (speak, read and written) with samples of writing to show
  • Journalism/PR Agency experience is a plus
  • Excellent skills in writing creative pitches, press releases, and internal communications that are engaging and highly persuasive
  • High level understanding of the organization strategy (vision and objective) and the role of communications within the marketing mix
