Job Description:

Hours: 1st shift Mon - Fri

The Environmental Services Supervisor serves as a leader within the City of Hope Environmental Services department which provides non-medical sanitation support as a contribution to positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains comprehensive knowledge and a high-quality standard of the Environmental Services function to effectively prioritize short- and long-term goals and guides and motivate staff in completing day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Assigns and revises staff work duties and schedules, managing team performance, and ensuring established cleaning procedures are met to provide a safe, attractive environment for patients, visitors, and staff
  • Assists with performing cleaning tasks, and other duties and special projects as assigned.

Minimum Job Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

  • 1 - 3 years of Environmental Services experience required
  • 2+ years supervisory experience preferred
  • Healthcare Environmental Services experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Must be able to communicate effectively, read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Strong leadership ability and customer services skills
  • Proficient in computer use including Microsoft Office Products
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay Range

$39,400.00 - $60,895.00

Placement within the identified pay range is based on individual and market factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, credentials (including licenses and certifications), geographic location, market competition, skill set (including market availability of required skills), assigned/anticipated job tasks, and level of responsibility. These factors are considered without regard to an individual’s status as a member of any protect group pursuant to federal, state, and/or local law.
