Main Accountabilities

  • Leads all aspects of the RMMH BU, including Commercial strategies aligned to corporate and regional mandates, focusing on patient-centricity
  • Participates with the Nordics Management Team (NMT) in the development and achievement of short- and long-term company goals and objectives
  • Establishes 5-year Business Plans for RMMH therapeutic areas
  • Devises and delivers integrated brand plans that optimize market share and profitability of existing in-line brands and new launch products, with Marketing team and in collaboration with Medical and Market Access
  • Develops the annual BU budget and implements to deliver financial results
  • Reviews activities, costs, and operations of the RMMH franchise to ensure maximum efficiency, including management of departmental budgets in a cost-effective manner, including but not limited to travel, promotional materials, industry events, bonus plans etc.
  • Directs the development, management and analysis of all Commercial (Marketing & Sales) functions, including: in-line brands and preparation for launch products
  • Prepares and positions the RMMH team, in coordination with cross-functional team stakeholders (Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, etc.), to take advantage of business opportunities that are synergistic with developing market opportunities. Including enhancing digital capabilities for in-line brands
  • Partners with Commercial Excellence group to ensure high quality and effective analysis to measure Sales and Marketing outcomes, support data-driven strategic and tactical decisions, derive insights, and identify viable solutions to address Marketing and Sales strategy and tactics, including targeted opportunities and initiatives
  • Leads the active and productive collaboration between the Specialty team with other departments including Finance, Logistics (SNO), Medical, Regulatory, Compliance, QA, and Human Resources
  • Understands Market Access in the Nordics, including healthcare systems and pathways to optimize delivery of patient-based programs, driving cost and process efficiencies, enabling effectiveness of care, and supporting enhanced patient and business outcomes
  • Designs and maintains continuous customer contact, developing partnerships, and compliant relationships, with KOLs and HCPs
  • Builds and adapts the BU team ensuring commercial effectiveness through organizational structure, process optimization and KPIs
  • Ensures an effective M&S BU team, including hiring, training, coaching, assessing and managing performance
  • Champions people development and engagement, effective performance management including talent pipeline

Qualifications

  • Education: University degree in a business or scientific discipline; an advanced degree (MSc, MBA) with a specialization in business or science, preferred
  • Experience: 10+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including both Sales and Marketing experience
  • Progressive leadership responsibilities, including: extensive people management, team engagement and talent development
  • Therapeutic area experience in Reproductive Medicine (Fertility) and/or Maternal Health is highly desirable
  • Thorough understanding of the Market Access landscape, the local healthcare environment and pathways, and regulatory environment for all Nordics countries

  • Establishes action plans founded on effective strategic thinking, rigorous planning, and excellence in tactical implementation
  • Possesses strong – intermediate to advanced – computer skills (MS Office and Teams, CRM, and adept to learn other business software applications)
