Trellix’s User Experience team is seeking an Experience Designer. You will design and deliver experiences that solve some of cybersecurity’s biggest, most challenging problems. You’ll leverage your full range of design skills to deliver experiences that align business outcomes with customer value. Your contributions will empower cybersecurity professionals to do their best work under high-pressure scenarios. What You’ll Do

  • Independently complete and plan standard UX tasks (user research & analysis, interaction design, IA, workflow maps)
  • Complete advanced UX tasks under the supervision of a UX lead (wire frames, prototypes, storyboards, user stories, personas, customer journeys, information architecture maps)
  • Translate research into actionable recommendations
  • Provide UX timeline estimates based on task plans
  • Communicate task-level design recommendations and artifacts to project team and stakeholders
  • Transparently integrate user feedback into designs
  • When needed, rapidly iterate and design steering change based on user feedback

About You

  • 3 to 4 years designing experiences with a Bachelor’s degree, or 0 to 2 years with a Master’s degree
  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in design, product/interaction design, graphic design or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Proficient-level application of user-centered design principles and design thinking to create customer value (a portfolio that demonstrates this is required) 
  • History of approachable, constructive relationships with UX practitioners, internal stakeholders, and customers
  • Ability to communicate ideas in approachable terms
  • Ability to help define and solve experience challenges
  • Cybersecurity experience is a plus
