Come join the QuickBooks Workforce Mobile team as a Senior Product Designer. You will design experiences for employees of small businesses, owning the end-to-end product for time tracking, payroll and benefits. You will have the opportunity to own new features, reimagine existing experiences, influence processes, all while brainstorming and sharing your ideas with cross-functional teammates.

Qualifications

  • Customer-centric design mindset
  • Making the complex simple through design deliverables with artistry, speed, creativity, and quality
  • Passion for creating products that resonate on an emotional level and drive business results
  • 4+ years of experience in interaction design, product design, service design, or related field
  • Experience designing for and working with design systems and reusable component libraries
  • Online portfolio showing examples of real published work
  • Deep knowledge of design principles and methods
  • Expertise leading, creating, and evangelizing experience strategies, principles, and ideal states
  • Expert communicator, presenter, influencer, and negotiator with designers and non-designers alike
  • Expertise executing ideas and concepts through sketching, storyboarding, wireframing, and prototyping. Delivering high fidelity designs and detailed interactions

Responsibilities

  • Apply strategic thinking to design and deliver innovative end-to-end user experiences that optimize among user needs, business goals, and technological realities across mobile platforms
  • Create user interface design, architecture and functionality according to usability best-practices, standards-compliant design and most importantly, user-tested data
  • Engage with customers and learn quickly through iterative prototyping
  • Collaborate effectively with other designers, product managers, developers and marketers to drive innovative solutions within timeline and scope
  • Responsible for seeing the idea from the promise to final payoff
  • Solicit feedback and contribute constructively to design reviews
  • Advance a strong point of view, backed up by customer data, design rationale, personal expertise, and industry trends
  • Self-organize and manage multiple projects efficiently
  • Contribute to the development of the creative team's culture and quality standards
