Job Description

Java/Oracle profile X 4 Positions:

Position Overview

You will upgrade to Java 11 MSCI Data Management backend applications; this will require the upgrade of their current tech stack (mainly Spring).

You will afterwards help with their migration to Azure Cloud. This will include the rewiring of Spring setup to Azure App Config and Key vault and the refactoring of services, so they run in a Kubernetes cluster.

Responsibilities: 

• Upgrade the Data management backend applications to Java 11
• Update their tech stack
• Adapt their connectivity to Azure Cloud (App Configs, Keyvault)
• Validate the applications in their new Cloud environment.

Desired Experience and Skills:

• Rock-solid core Java skills
• Good knowledge of SpringBoot + Spring JDBC
• Relational database experience preferably on Oracle, PL/SQL knowledge will be an advantage
• Pragmatic, keep it simple mentality
• Experience with Kubernetes is a plus
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure) is also a plus
• No fuss attitude towards legacy application code
