The Big Picture

Howden, a Chart Industries Company are a global engineering business who focus on providing clients with industrial products that help multiple sectors improve their everyday processes. Howden’s core focus is on providing quality solutions for air and gas handling and have over a century of experience in doing so.

This role is based in Adana and you will be closely working with the Howden Türkiye Sales team. The main purpose of the role will be to manage the company’s regional sales relationships and maintain a standard of support and excellence towards the business.

What needs to be done?

Develop Sales Plan 

  • Ensure targets are set and a set of objectives and activities are defined to meet targets for Bookings, Margin, Sales and business development in the Industry. 
  • Create a comprehensive set of defined actions for the industrial segment. 

Achieve target activities

  • Effectively follow up on sales plans/targets and activities
  • Follows up with Howden BUs to ensure progress and facilitate team based efforts and a ONE Howden approach to the market
  • Secure data quality in CRM and adequate information level for quality work 

Strategy

  • Contribute to the NB Sales and AFM department strategy together with HTR General Manager, Global Howden Aftermarket and Regional Sales Managers

Reporting

  • Ensure appropriate reporting on sales opportunities funnel, sales plans, budgeting, booking forecast, and KPI’s are in place to protect business interests and mitigate risk.
  • Provide Management with status updates and updates on sales plans.

Corporate Ethics & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with relevant Howden policies and procedures and adherence to Howden code of conduct.

Environmental, Safety & Health 

  • Ensure safe work practices are followed and report all safety incidents and near misses on a timely basis and maintaining the goal of “zero” lost time incidents

What do you need to bring?

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or another related field.
  • Moderate (5 years+) experience from sales preferably with large rotating machinery
  • Preferably with experience in Power and Mining, or Howden’ sector.
  • Some experience with Sales Channel / Distribution or Key Account Management
  • Proven ability to generate sales plans, set actions and translates strategy into action.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating Customer centric behaviour
  • Ability to negotiate skilfully, both internally and externally. 
  • Knows how to secure business without damaging relationships. 
  • Gains trust of other parties in the negotiations.
  • Outstanding communication skills in both national and international settings.
  • Ability to communicate on all levels of customers organisation
  • Fluent in English.
