The Extended Enterprise (EE) practice focuses on helping our clients manage risks related to organisations that it interacts with outside of its own legal entities.

In Extended Enterprise we perform a huge variety of projects helping our clients with their third party relationships. Our advisory services typically involve developing and implementing TPRM (Third Party Risk Management) frameworks, policies, procedures and governance models for our clients that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. This may involve conduct gap assessments of our client’s TPRM programme and providing guidance and support to improve their third party due diligence, contracting, oversight, monitoring and termination to build sustainability, integrity and resilience in to their supply chain operations. We help clients across a wide range of regulatory, reputational, operational and ethical risks.

The work you perform enable you to lead exciting client engagements including supporting clients to manage cyber risks associated with third party relationships, such as following factors:

• The wide range of different third party risks an organisation may face across different industries, including relating to anti-bribery, sanctions, human rights, ethics and sustainability in the supply chain, business resilience, cyber risk and data privacy;
• The drivers which affect behaviours of business partners, suppliers and customers;
• The operational processes and controls required by an organisation to effectively monitor its third party relationships; and
• In addition, you will build an understanding of how to manage risk, engagement economics and teams of several people in order to deliver an optimal outcome for our clients.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Third Party Cyber Risk Management Senior Consultant and/or Manager to join our Extended Enterprise team. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising our clients on developing, implementing and operating comprehensive third-party cyber risk management programs, ensuring that all third-party vendors and partners meet their security standards and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities will be:

• Advise clients on developing and implementing comprehensive third-party cyber risk management programs, including strong familiarity and expertise with frameworks such as NIST, ISO27001 etc.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits of third-party vendors and partners on behalf of clients.
• Develop and maintain a third-party risk register for clients and ensure that all third-party vendors and partners are assessed and monitored regularly.
• Work closely with clients to ensure that all third-party vendors and partners meet their security standards and compliance requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their third-party vendors and partners, ensuring that they understand the client's security requirements and expectations.
• Programme manage third party cyber assessment programmes.
• Deliver or oversee third party cyber audits where required by the client.
• Provide regular reporting and updates to clients on third-party cyber risk management activities and issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in third-party cyber risk management.

Connect to your skills and professional experience

A successful individual will demonstrate the following behaviours, capabilities and experience:

• A track record of leading third party cyber risk management related client engagements in a consulting role, or teams or functions in an ‘in-house’ role is preferred.
• Understanding of third party cyber risk management threat intelligence solutions, data sources and capabilities is important.
• Experience of the process and methodologies of performing risk assessments and audits on third parties to assess cyber risk management maturity is required.
• Ideally the candidate will have experience delivering these projects in financial services, technology, media, telecommunications, consumer or life sciences sectors.
• A clear perspective and understanding of what the future looks like for third party cyber risk management is important as it will enable the candidate to bring efficiency and operational effectiveness to clients’ TPRM programmes.
• Highly organised individual with strong attention to detail and able to manage their own workload and to delegate effectively.
• Strong communication, presentation and English writing skills, including strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
• Critical analytical and problem solving skills are a must and the ability to make decisions logically and confidently.
• Strong ability to build professional relationships and rapport with the EERM team and its clients, as well as to build out and further enhance the TPRM capability within our team.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal, both internally and externally with clients and third parties, and be able to communicate clearly and effectively to all levels.
• An individual with deep experience managing change programmes in large, global organisations with multiple work streams and stakeholders is preferred.

Working with EE provides a mixture of working in the office, client sites and visiting third parties’ premises, which provides variety and a well-rounded mix of work environments.
