Your responsibilities

  • You develop a clear strategy designed to foster growth, profitably and efficiencies within the company
  • You continuously improve plant manufacturing performance along all key dimensions

(safety, sustainability, quality, deliver, cost)

  • You exceed customer expectations in quality, cost, delivery, service, and project launches all

while collaborating with cross-functional teams to win and implement new business.

  • You lead the departments Operations, Logistics, Quality Management, Operational Excellence and other where required, and ensure optimal coordination and organization.
  • You translate strategies into ambitious goals that are aligned along the value chain and

across departments and ensure the achievement.

  • Customer satisfaction and delivery performance are of highest priority to you.
  • You shape the company culture by developing and promoting policies in line with the overall company strategy
  • You partner with the CEO & Financial director to achieve favorable financial results with respect to sales, profitability, cash flow, mergers and acquisitions, systems, reporting and controls.
  • You develop and builds strong, high-performing, cross functional teams at all levels while partnering with leadership and other business functions. You coach and develop staff through individual development plans that ensure succession planning for all levels of the plant.
  • You lead the implementation of reporting systems and procedures to control and optimize the flow of material throughout the operations process. You interact with customers, suppliers, and sales representatives, as necessary, to resolve problems and to promote the company mission.
  • You closely collaborate with central functions on business unit (BU) level or other

manufacturing sites to ensure support, technological advances and best practice

implementation

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or Operations Management or equivalent in degree and experience.
  • Experience in executive level operational role. Proven experience working in several of the following: Plant operations, Logistics, Quality and supply chain management.
  • Substantial manufacturing background, preferably in the automotive industry, with proven experience in manufacturing and production management, setup & cycle time reduction, OEE, labor efficiency improvement, continuous improvement and materials management.
  • Knowledge of and experience implementing smart manufacturing concepts such as

interconnectivity, automation, machine learning, and real-time data (Industry 5.0) to

marry physical production and operations with smart digital technology, machine learning, and big data to have created more holistic and better-connected systems.

  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and world class manufacturing principles. Prior experience in LEAN, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, Total Quality Management

(Quality Assurance/Control) and similar productivity and preventative maintenance tools and methodologies.

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to include influencing, collaboration and building of strong, lasting relationships. Understanding of and ability to work in a matrix management organization.
  • Demonstrated & effective leadership style with a positive and proactive approach to

management with the proven ability to build teams of top talent and foster a culture of high performance, autonomy and accountability

  • Proven ability leveraging data to lead in a metrics-driven environment to hold team

accountable to established metrics. Has created KPIs, and metrics for a company in a high growth environment.

  • Possesses and demonstrates strong project management skills through direct responsibility for complex projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with multiple levels and disciplines. Possesses and displays strong consulting skills, including the capability to quickly identify and develop improvement opportunities and build trust, confidence and credibility with customers, key OEM partners, individual contributors, line managers and leaders.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in balancing immediate and long-term priorities to meet critical objectives while considering the impact of those decisions on the ability to achieve goals.
  • Proven experience successfully articulating, inspiring and engaging commitment to a plan of action aligned with organizational mission and goals. Demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to manage changing and competing priorities. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for talent development and process improvement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Must be able to translate

complex concepts and problems into formal and written presentation. Dynamic

presentation skills necessary to be able to confidently stand up in front of the organization

and make impactful presentations to large groups of employees.

  • Proven track record of driving best practices, improving productivity and profitability

throughout operations with leading-edge management practices, innovative use of

technology, cost reduction strategies and high-quality investment decisions.

  • A track record of success in managing, mentoring, coaching and directing employees;

experience in developing staff and promoting growth within the organization thru various avenues of cross-training and other training.

  • In-depth knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic

planning, resource allocation and human resources).
