As a Project Procurement Manager you will be actively involved in supporting the development of the Controls & Digitalization business.

Mastering project related procurement challenges with a team while keeping focused on procurement rules and regulations.

The world of project procurement managers today is characterized by interdisciplinary cooperation with various teams, like commercial and technical functions or commodity managers, to name just a few.

How You’ll Make an Impact

For our Project Procurement department, we are currently looking for a Project Procurement Manager, to join our team in our office in Budapest.

As our new Project Procurement Manager, you will be assigned to Projects, once they are kicked off for execution. You will be acting as a procurement single point of contact in the project team, working closely with Commodity Managers and Buyers to ensure all procurement activities are synchronized with project millstones.

You will be in charge to support the Project team regarding procurement risk & opportunities topics, delegate Procurement ad-hoc project demands and consolidate lessons learned. You will also assure all project procurement activities adhere to standardized processes.

Our Project Procurement Managers will be the voice of the projects towards the Procurement organization, driving the transition to a project-centric organization by focusing on the Customer and bringing the supply chain to the next level.

What You Bring

Besides a passion for project business and a sense for the importance for continuous improvement, we are also looking for:

  • A motivating teammate, who is resilient, responsible, and structured with excellent communication skills. You are able to interact with collaborators across all levels in the organization.
  • You are motivated by providing quality results within the deadlines and are happy to work in a dynamic organization and environment. You also have project management skills and basic knowledge of KPIs and reporting.
  • We are looking for someone business fluent in English and Hungarian (German is a plus).
  • Furthermore, we expect you to have either a Bachelor or Master’s degree in business administration, engineering together with 5+ years of experience within Procurement and/or Project Management.
  • You are as a person curious and want to learn and contribute to the organization. You know how to plan and prioritize the given tasks within the project. It is a big advantage if you thrive in a multi-cultural environment and are familiar with working in large organizations.
