GDS Consulting – Functional Architect/Senior Designer & Developer (ORMB) Oracle Utilities- Manager/Senior

The Opportunity

We are currently looking for professional for Functional Architect/Senior Designer and Developer role at Manager or Senior level with expertise in Oracle Revenue Management and Billing to be a part of GDS Consulting Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of a new service offering.

Your key responsibilities

  • Write comprehensive functional design document and technical design document.
  • Analyze, understand, and document client requirements from a business viewpoint and collaborate with the client and delivery team to derive optimal solutions.
  • Serve as a liaison between Client Teams and the Technical Team.
  • Facilitate communication among various teams to ensure that project requirements and the client's overall needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Lead/support client workshops
  • Validate system design by initiating, reviewing, and coordinating user acceptance testing.
  • Participate in project reviews to ensure solutions and systems meet quality standards, reduce errors, and align with clients' requirements.
  • Use broad knowledge to help clients understand and implement new systems and procedures, minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless business operations.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Have experience in at least two implementation projects in their careers.
  • Have experience in functional/technical solution architect role.
  • Have functional knowledge of the ORMB Product.
  • Have experience in any of the following Billing Products - Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) with excellent understanding on billing processes such as Pricing, Billing, Revenue Management, Payments & Collections. 
  • Experience in delivering large or medium-sized ORMB solutions for Banking or Healthcare/Insurance domain.
  • Exhibit a proactive and solution-driven mindset with a readiness to learn and adapt to new technologies to meet client needs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to comprehend complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Possess strong team management skills, empathy, and the ability to work with Leadership for team development.
  • Strong people management skills with a proven ability to lead and manage assignments.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to oversee multiple tasks and projects, ensuring quality work within deadlines.
  • Have hands-on experience working with clients throughout various stages of the implementation lifecycle.

To qualify for the role, you must have.

  • For the Manager position, candidates need to have relevant experience in ORMB Implementation with a total experience of 7 to 12 years.
  • For the Senior position, candidates need to have relevant experience in ORMB Implementation with a total experience of 5 to 7 years.
  • Candidates should possess strong business analysis skills.
  • They should demonstrate excellent command over designing business processes.

Ideally, you’ll also be.

  • Good Business Writing skills
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Demonstrate a sense of end-to-end accountability, consistently ensuring customer satisfaction and delivery excellence.
  • Adept at prioritizing deliveries in cooperation with the implementation team
  • Adopt a proactive, logical, and organized approach towards problem resolution.
  • Any relevant product/platform certification would be an added advantage and is highly desirable.
