Position Overview

The Market Operations Senior Manager is responsible for managing comprehensive operational support to the Market leadership teams. The role is primarily responsible for market level execution of tactics, initiatives, and projects to improve sales performance and operational excellence. This role will utilize information from various sources to inform market leadership decision-making and monitor tactical execution of business initiatives and goals.

This position may be field based / remote.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Collaborate with the Market Leaders (including SDHS) to provide support, and solutions to execute the markets’ strategic initiatives and tactics to drive growth.
  • Drive accountability among the Market Leadership teams by managing program/initiative/business metrics and progress (e.g., timeline, budget, scope of impact, performance metrics) while surfacing critical business topics for discussion and/or deep dives.
  • Be the conduit on business insight communication between the field leadership teams and regional leadership.
  • Lead, monitor, and/or project manage strategic initiatives for the Market leadership teams.
  • Ensure that processes and standards are in place for continuous capabilities assessment and improvement.
  • Identify areas for greater operational efficiency and effectiveness and collaborate with Market Leaders/SDHM to implement/drive improvement opportunities at all levels within the Markets.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
  • Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.
  • Ability to travel 10% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales or commercial positions within Pharma, Diagnostics, Biotech or Medical Device Fields.
  • Very Strong business acumen; demonstrated awareness and understanding of key business performance metrics, business financials, commercial operations, and key customer insights.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategies to drive growth.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence high-performing teams, build trust, and make sound decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of progressively responsible experience in direct or indirect leadership roles.
  • Process champion i.e. Lean Six Sigma project management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience directly leading and coordinating strategic initiatives through strong project management, influencing and team leadership skills.

Salary Range:

$129,000.00 - $208,000.00

The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to receive company stock upon hire as well as annually.
