A day in the life

The Head of Investor Relations role is responsible for managing Prologis’ strategy, framework and activities related to maintaining and enhancing the company’s relationships with current and potential investors, analysts and key other financial stakeholders. The position is responsible for providing investors with an accurate account of company affairs and to help investors make informed decisions. This position is located in our San Francisco office and will manage a small team of employees.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop, implement and manage Prologis’ strategic investor relations program
• Serve as Prologis’ representative and manage relationships with shareholders and investment stakeholders
• Organize and lead meetings with investors and analysts
• Plan and oversee the company’s earnings call and financial disclosures
• Develop messaging for all financial communications
• Answer queries from investors and financial analysts
• Monitor and report on competitor’s financial activities and their impact on Prologis
• Coordinate and host Investor Relations events, meetings, conferences, etc.
• Advise and inform leadership on the pulse of stakeholders and potential financial decisions
• Work closely with the legal team to ensure compliance with financial regulation and disclosures
• Manage Investor Relations team

Building blocks for success:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field
• Master’s degree preferred in Business Administration or Finance
• 12+ years experience in investor relations, financial services or investment banking
• REIT experience
• Renewable energy and storage experience a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong understanding of financial statements, corporate finance and financial markets
• Familiarity with SEC regulations and guidelines, financial reporting and compliance
• Strong networking and relationship building abilities
• Proven leadership and strategic planning abilities
• Strong interpersonal and influence management
• Strategic and project mgmt. capabilities coupled with strong analytic and financial acumen

Hiring Salary Range of: $250,000 - $325,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target & LTI) to be determined by the candidate’s location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
