We are inviting applications for the role of Sourcing and Procurement – Manager – English – Hybrid Warsaw

Responsibilities

  • Sourcing Implementation:

o Ensure integration & leverage of market business needs into procurement category strategies

o Expert in local requirements (legislation, culture, supply base), Spend Master

o Execute strategy with local relevance

o Secure industry compliance requirements

o Apply category policies supported by operational guidelines

o Supports GCMs in category strategy creation

o Responsible sourcing compliance

  • Y-o-Y Funnel Management and Saving Execution

o Spend Management & Demand: Price*Quantity expertise and gate keeping

o Execute savings according to plan

o Apply bidding guideline per policy

o Ongoing process optimization

  • Business and Procurement Partnering:

o Management of stakeholders in region/country (CH, Nordics and Central Europe)

o Promote & translate global strategies for local execution

o Advise GCMs on local market updates

o Support business in audits for suppliers on a local level

o Ensure stakeholder strategy buy-in

  • Supplier Relationship Management:

o Define requirements, lead the process of identifying, qualifying, ranking, selecting appropriate suppliers

o Regional/country account executive for strategic accounts

o Apply SRM requirements to manage & reduce supplier base

o Foster and bring supplier innovation

o Negotiations with key suppliers & contracting leveraging global volume

o Jointly with stakeholders, lead business review process with strategic suppliers & review KPI (BRM)

o Gatekeepers of compliance

  • Buying experience and S2P
  • Collaborate and work globally with other Genpact business leaders and functional leaders to create and commercialize existing and new product offerings
  • Leverage lean six sigma framework to drive continuous performance improvement and drive transformation agenda
  • Implement appropriate mechanisms to identify, understand and escalate performance gaps and/or performance breakthroughs. Develop and implement improvement plans to close performance gaps.
  • Lead multi-disciplined, cross-functional teams and take accountability for the overall delivery of the function
  • Report and address operational issues
  • Be a key driving force in managing new/existing relationships with a set of valuable clients leading to a healthy P&L

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum qualifications

  • Professional competence in the field of activity specified in the job description. Good general knowledge of the company's field of activity; 
  • Ability to understand, communicate and actively support process-efficiency initiatives to generate customer financial and productivity benefits; 
  • Excellent communication skills (engage with client stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers)
  • Good negotiations skills to engage with suppliers and logistics providers
  • Good understanding data management, reporting and basic data analysis
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (e.g.: excellent handling of pivot tables)
  • Developed skills of analysis, problem solving and project coordination; 
  • Ability to motivate himself/herself to achieve goals, to demonstrate high energy and to adapt to short delivery times; 
  • Ability to manage quality expectations and set control points in the process to ensure that the team meets performance standards; 
  • Ability to bring internal and external process information to identify optimization and process automation opportunities through the use of digital applications / systems; 

Preferred qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Certification
