Our Program Management Team is looking to add a Project Coordinator in our Long Island City, NY office who is proactive, collaborative, and has a passion for building relationships. In this role you’ll work closely with project managers and the engagement manager to assist in the implementation of compliance for engagement procedures for our client (NYCHA) Section 3 Program requirements. This is a forward facing position and your engagement soft skills and ability to manage competing priorities will be critical with NYCHA property managers and neighborhood administration to ensure successful Program results. 

Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with Project Managers to document verify SE/S3 outreach documentation compliance.
  • Interacts with various internal and external (SE/S3).
  • Provides administrative office support to Program team including proficiency with computers, word processing, excel spreadsheets, meeting scheduling, filing, phone calls, email correspondence, and record keeping.
  • Assists (SE/S3) engagement manager in implementing compliance to the NYCHA (SE/S3) engagement procedures, (includes Section 3 coordination requirements).
  • Assists in tracking implementation of (SE/S3) engagement touchpoints between project team, consultants and contractors, and end users, into project schedules. Assists with coordination and scheduling (SE/S3) engagement meetings during various project phases.
  • Assist in maintaining internal historical records and tracking logs related to (SE/S3) engagements.
  • Maintaining and updating contact directories for all projects and respective end user (SE/S3) s.
  • Participates in internal and external meetings and composes, maintains and distributes meeting minutes, and attendance records. 
  • Assists in maintaining, organizing, filing documents related to (SE/S3) engagement meetings.
  • Verifies and documents contractor /consultant compliance with Section 3 requirements pursuant to NYCHA standard protocols and contract obligations throughout life of all projects.

Here's What You'll Need:

  • Associate degree from an accredited college or University or currently enrolled in a bachelor degree program
  • 2+ years of administrative experience
  • Experince managing multiple assignments simultaneously in a deadline driven environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
  • Team and Client focused approach to communication and people engagement at various levels within diverse teams

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Section 3 residency
  • General knowledge of Section 3 requirements
  • Experience working within the public housing environment
  • Public Relations experince
  • Working knowledge of eBuilder management system
  • Data management experience

The base hourly range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
