About The Role

Altabank, Division of Glacier Bank, is hiring a Mortgage Loan Originator.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist customers with their mortgage lending needs
• Accurately gather information about borrowers and analyzes and analyzes the risk profile of the loan requests
• Make credit decisions based on mortgage lending policy
• Closely monitors and improves the risk controls of the Bank

About You

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Successful candidates will need to have 2-5 years of mortgage origination experience in conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and Jumbo loans
• Must have and maintain an NMLS ID number (S.A.F.E. Act Registration)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong knowledge of conventional and government guidelines
• Strong problem solving, communication, and analytical skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft office applications and have strong computer skills
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to self-generate the majority of your own business without leads

Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.
