  • Note: This position requires presence in one of our San Francisco Bay Area office locations (Currently San Jose, expanding to Peninsula/SF) 5 days per week.

What You’ll Do 

  • Manage the preparation and timely submission of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the implementation of new accounting standards and ensure compliance with changes in regulations.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure adherence to audit requirements.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide technical guidance to finance and accounting teams on complex accounting issues.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to support financial reporting initiatives.
  • Stay current on industry trends, accounting principles, and regulations to ensure compliance.

You 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification is required.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, technical accounting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in managing a team and leading projects.

Nice to Have 

  • Netsuite experience (or other large ERP system experience)
  • Advanced knowledge with Microsoft and Google Applications

Salary Range Information 

Based on market data and other factors, the salary range for this position is $170,000 - $220,000. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
