Educational Qualification: -

Graduate in Mechanical / Electrical engineering.

Additional Qualification: -

Certified Internal Auditor ISO 9001 and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification will be added advantage.

Experience: -

3-4 years of experience in Quality Assurance role within an engineering / manufacturing or similar Industry, preferably in Medium Voltage GIS switchboard.

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and implement test strategies and test plans that result in effective identification of product/process defects.

Initiate process improvements projects to maximize production efficiency and effectiveness by conducting FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis), Quality Circle Meetings and Kaizen activity.

Engaging in problem solving activities by using statistical tools, 7 QC tools, RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and implementing CAPA.

Coordinate with other relevant function for resolution / solution for Quality problems.

Ensuring line KPI are met with defined target, further analyzing Line KPI for defining improvement actions.

Perform analysis based on the historic trend / data of all identified Quality issues/defects in manufacturing and initiate and ensure CAPA.

Prepare and update checklist, procedures, and other documents in the field of Quality assurance, also ensure correct documents are used in Manufacturing line.

Review and Analyze NCR (Non-Conformance report) reported in M-Tool for Before and After delivery cases and take a lead in NCR closure by involving CFT.

Identify supplier related defect and perform on-site supplier visits by involvement of SQM team for root cause analysis and verification of corrective actions.

Escalation in case of permanent or serious deviations of Quality requirements to Quality Head and SPR Head.

Conduct product audits for released products.

Provide support and involvement in new product development improvements through early involvement in part development process as per APQP for First time Right development.

Skill and Knowledge: -

Auditing skills according to ISO 9001.

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skill, Effective usage of data analysis tools (e.g., Root cause analysis, 8D, 7QC Tools).

Communication and Presentation Skill,

Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Power BI preferred.

Good Experience & knowledge on FMEA (Process), Control Plan, QAP

Should have knowledge in sheet metal fabrication and Powder Coating process.

Should have working experience in LV / MV switchboard Assembly, Wiring and Testing activity.

Should have basis understanding of GD&T parameter related to part drawings.
