ABOUT THE JOB

Our site in Aubusson has a long tradition is specialised in preparation equipment for professional kitchens.

Reporting to the Plant Manager you will be managing your team of 3 and you will be responsible for defining and implementing improvement actions for the site in line with Group policies and guidelines, and applicable legal regulations in the fields of Quality, Health & Safety and the Environment.

ABOUT YOUR TASKS

  • Supervise and coordinate activities related to the QSE department (incoming inspection of components, audits of finished products, supplier quality, compliance with defined instructions and procedures, document management).
  • Be the legal representative and decision-maker on behalf of management in all matters relating to quality, health & safety, and the environment. You have the authority to block manufacturing, shipments, or external supplies in the event of quality problems, or to block production systems in the event of health & safety or environmental impacts.
  • Guarantee ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification of the site (carry out and delegate process, product, or system audits, and ensure summaries, action plans and follow-up).
  • Be a driving force in QSE fields and take part in Group meetings on EPS pillars.
  • Train operators, technicians, supervisors and managers in product quality, processes, procedures, instructions, systems, certification, etc.
  • Present any deviations from objectives, audits, or action plans to the management, to enable site management to decide on the progress and effectiveness of the site's QSE system.
  • Ensure compliance with safety instructions defined by Site Management
  • Manage the budget allocated to the QSE department
  • Ensure reporting activities

ABOUT YOU

  • You are holding a 5-year degree in quality management, health, safety & environment or comparable; or a 2-year degree with significant professional experience
  • At least 2 years' professional experience in a similar position, ideally in an industrial environment
  • You have a first team management experience
  • Mechanical knowledge (machining, sheet metal work, use of inspection equipment) and electrical knowledge (electrical circuits, motors, reading drawings and diagrams).
  • Good knowledge of QSE system standards
  • Proficiency in risk analysis techniques
  • Initial experience in project management
  • Good command of MS office tools 
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling you to interact effectively with all stakeholders
  • You make suggestions to improve and facilitate the implementation 
  • Fluency in French and a professional level of English language are required in this position.
