Join our Technical Support team! Work to diagnose and resolve a wide range of challenges on the Akamai Connected Cloud. During the initial 3 months, you will engage in training sessions and online courses. Our ultimate goal is to equip you with the expertise needed to collaborate with mentor and proficiently handle support tickets as you progress in your role.

As an Associate Cloud Support Engineer , you will be:

  • Being a trusted partner for troubleshooting complex technical issues for EMEA accounts
  • Leading technical investigations across Akamai Connected Cloud Platform
  • Taking a ownership of customer issues and collaborate across time zones
  • Continuing to build your technical skills as you progress in your career
  • Utilizing and maintaining the Knowledge Database with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Providing feedback into improving our internal tools, procedures and working towards becoming an SME

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be a student or alumnus in Software/Network Engineering, or another STEM related field or be technically trained
  • Be fluent in spoken and written Italian, Spanish or German and English and possess excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrate an understanding of basic principles of internet protocols such as DNS, HTTP, SSL, TCP/IP and caching
  • Have knowledge with Linux specifically in Bash/Shell command line environment
