The Account Director we are looking for plays a pivotal role in managing client relationships, overseeing account teams, and driving strategic initiatives to deliver exceptional creative solutions. This position requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of marketing and advertising principles, including social media and digital campaigns, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Client Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key client accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Understand client needs and objectives to provide strategic guidance and solutions.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to upsell and expand services to existing clients.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor account teams to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Set clear goals and objectives for account managers and coordinators.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop strategic account plans aligned with client objectives and agency capabilities.
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to business development efforts.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market changes, and competitor activities to inform strategic recommendations, including social media and digital marketing trends.

Project Management:

  • Oversee the development and execution of creative campaigns, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client expectations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (creative, production, media, and Dentsu .) to ensure seamless project workflow.
  • Address any issues or challenges that arise during project execution.

Financial Management:

  • Manage account budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
  • Monitor project profitability and take proactive measures to optimize margins.
  • Ensure accurate and timely invoicing and billing processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or client services within a creative agency environment.
  • Demonstrated success in managing client relationships and leading account teams.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives, with a strong understanding of social media and digital campaigns.
  • Experience in managing budgets and financial performance.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and technologies, particularly in social media and digital campaign management.
  • Languages: Arabic & English
