Overview
As a Supply Chain Finance Business Partner, you will be leading financial analysis and providing financial insights for cross BUs (Business Units) Supply Chain initiatives including Transformation, Capex, Coman, and Sourcing.
Responsibilities
- End to End management and ownership of the SCF agenda for Ukraine ΜU; partnering with SC to manage Make and Move projects/budgets in close cooperation with MU SCF Planning team that is responsible for day to day / routine processes.
- Business partner with E2E Supply Chain Lead for MU and work with her/him on defining and implementing a holistic SC strategy, driving all Make and Move cost levers to deliver required levels of service at the lowest possible cost in a sustainable manner
- Co-lead preparation of Strategic Business Planning (PSP) for the SC in MU
- Lead selected Transformational Productivity Projects
- Lead Business Development Analysis (Benchmarking, “what if” analysis, Financial Modelling)
- Lead Major Capex Investment proposals
- Partner with SC LT to deliver Productivity targets
- Partner with SC LT on Strategic Supplier Negotiations (Co-Man)
- Partner with E2E Supply Chain Lead for BU to set Financial Targets for Make & Move
- Partner with E2E Supply Chain Lead for BU on trade-offs & task mgmt as part of Make and Move AOP sign off
- P&L Accountability (with E2E Supply Chain Lead for BU) for delivery of Make and Move budgets
- Partner with E2E Supply Chain Lead for BU to navigate cost performance of the business and deliver AOP targets
- Evaluate Make and Move cost performance, liaise with SCF Planning Leads and identify any trends that need further performance analysis and intervention
- Lead deep-dives to fully understand and address performance issues
- Provide input and recommendations on trade-offs within Developed/ing Markets, budget transfers, opportunity/risk management, tasks, etc.
- Financial Stewardship of annual Capital Budget
- Drive increase in ROIC for capital expenditure
- Financial Leadership in Trade Off Decisions (Capital rationing)
- Integrity of Financial Modelling within Capex
- Governance and Adherence to the Policy & Procedures issued by Sector CoE
- Capital project oversight. Ensure proper business cases are developed, and review soundness of financial models; probe for alternatives; make recommendations to Sr Leadership.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in progressive Finance Planning roles (Supply Chain Finance/FMCG experience would be a plus)
- Financial technical skills achieved through accounting qualification (Bachelor/ Master degree in Finance and/or CIMA/ACCA)
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Advance in English
- Ability to partner with a wide range of stakeholders from differing parts of the business in order to support significant project workload. Practical experience in building and leading investment’s business cases would be a plus.
- Communication skills to provide clearly articulated and appropriate messages across a wide spectrum of stakeholders
- Intellectual capacity to link accounting concepts to underlying financial data systems in order to understand, analyze and interpret both actual results and forecast data
- Being a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously driving own agenda balanced with the capacity to recognize when support required
