About the role

This is a channel agnostic role, with responsibility around creating Ann Taylor brand campaign imagery from concept to execution every season. The Sr. Art Director will work closely with the Creative Director to concept and present seasonal campaigns in partnership with the Editorial Director with a true understanding of visual storytelling. This position ensures that the integrity of the brand imagery is present in advertising and editorial campaigns, collateral for direct mail, branded platforms, e-commerce and social media photography.

The impact you can have

  • Bring high-level ideas to life through thoughtful research, strong visual storytelling, art direction and comprehension of the seasonal campaign story
  • Support the Creative Director with creative concept development through visual research and mockups
  • Support the Creative Director with on-set art direction of photo and video shoots by collaborating with photographers, stylists, and other members of the creative team
  • Oversee post-production processes like retouching, video editing
  • Uphold the brand’s creative direction while working closely with cross-functional business partners, delivering on core business needs while also ensuring the uniformity of brand projection and imagery
  • Manage and mentor art director to help their career path
  • Articulate and present creative work to the marketing team and senior leaders

You’ll bring to the role 

  • 10-12 years of experience at similar brand in fashion/retail space
  • Previous experience working in-house for similar brand
  • In depth knowledge of the industry – photographers, stylists, models
  • Ability to clearly articulate and present creative ideas
  • Ability to reprioritize projects and work flow based on business needs
  • Proven ability to manage relationships and drive process in a team environment
  • Bachelors degree in Graphic Design or related field
  • Expert knowledge of Mac OS and Adobe Creative Suite

  • The target salary range for this role is: $140,000 - $150,000*

This position works in a hybrid model, with three days per week worked in the Times Square Tower location and two days per week worked remotely.
