Job Description

The VP, Analytics and Product Development will lead in delivering data-driven, actionable insights and spearheading innovative product development initiatives on behalf of our clients. Ideal candidates will have a robust background in analytics, data science, product development, shopper/omni-commerce marketing, and a deep understanding of the technologies, platforms, and best practices that define the digital, retail/shopper media, and marketing spaces. This role involves orchestrating measurement, optimization, and product development strategies for a cross-channel, multi-discipline team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative measurement strategies and oversee analyses designed to gain a deep understanding of consumer/shopper behavior and communications performance.
  • Spearhead the strategy and development of new data-driven products and services in the commerce space.
  • Provide hands-on consultancy and support to clients and project teams, championing the integration of Arc products and analytic solutions to meet client business objectives
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends in the digital, retail, and shopper media landscape, with a track record of applying emerging trends and technologies to create value for clients and innovative product solutions.
  • Derive insights from data to create a compelling narrative that moves internal and external stakeholders to act on recommendations.
  • Create visually compelling presentations of reporting and insights that allow a client to easily evaluate performance relative to their business objectives.

Build relationships:

  • Cultivate relationships with key agency team members including Strategy, Creative, Customer Experience, and Business Leadership, to integrate analytics and product development with broader business strategies
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities to solve additional client problems
  • Build and lead high-performing, collaborative, cross-functional teams of analysts, data scientists, and developers to
  • Accountable for executional excellence across all client work and able to ensure deliverables are focused on actionable insights.
  • Mentor junior level team members to be strong analytics partners to their clients.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10+ years of agency or analytics experience (commerce / shopper marketing experience preferred)
  • Proven leadership in large-scale and complex marketing analytics and product development engagements.
  • Demonstrated mastery in the digital analytics space with a track record of innovation in product development.
  • Experience working with quantitative and qualitative research data.
  • Has demonstrated thought leadership within their organization by becoming a subject matter expert within an analytics environment.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences
  • Familiarity with working alongside developers, with a strong understanding of development life cycles and modern development practices.
  • Knowledge of data science principles, including but not limited to statistical analysis, machine learning models, and data mining techniques.
  • Strong track record of business development.
